Mythbusters

I was watching Mythbusters tonight, the episode where they test the myth that sharks are afraid of dolphins. It was pretty wicked. I was surprised at the results, I mean we've all seen Flipper but still, to see the Great Whites hesitate around a fake dolphin was pretty interesting. Nature's a complex world, huh? Even the big bullies have to back down sometimes.

Wreck Something!

A couple months ago I came across this book in a bookstore (big surprise I know. Personally I was looking for a blender.) and the title caught my eye. Wreck This Journal. Well, now that sounded like fun. I picked it up and flipped through a couple pages. Apparently it was this journal just filled with little commands on every page. Like one page is all, use this page as a napkin and document your dinner. Another says to tear this page out and throw it away, accept the loss. I would imagine that could be hard for some people and I began to think this book my actually have something here. This kind of creative and passive distruction could possibly be theraputic. I ended up buying the book and it's been a blast. I've thrown it against walls, colored outside the lines, doddled, scribbled, made messes, and rubbed everything from dirt to food all over it. I even took the journal in the shower with me. We won't go any further than that. Haha.
